So, yes all lives matter. The person that took that mans life in Charlotte will have to live with the fact she killed someone for good reasons or bad, she still has hers and his family to answer too. The world will be watching her that is for sure and many others just like her.

When is enough, enough? I don’t think we as a society will ever really know. Yes, police officers are great, yes dealing with the general public can be scary. However, we need to have more conversations and less bullets.

We need to have more police officer training perhaps on not to kill a person maybe just try to wound them? It might save a lot more lives it might not. Eight years ago we voted for a nation for change.

Eight years ago we came together to change history and have our first black president. I look around for all the fellow people who voted for that change. I think maybe they are lost in a sea of angry people. But, I do ask everyone; police officers and society and anyone personally who reads this blog to start a conversation and vote for change again.

Not necessarily presidential change but a change in our way of “being”. Before you take that life think for one second about the thousands that person before you may have touched.

Think about the fact that IF you take that life how your life will change forever. You have to stay awake at night knowing you shot someone and took them away forever from their families.
