Alibaba vs AliExpress: What’s the Difference?

Have you also been juggling between the two options? The names, the origins, and even the owner himself may lead you to believe that Alibaba and AliExpress are the same things, but they are not. They may have similar-sounding names, offer Chinese items, and are owned by the same person, Jack Ma, but that’s where the similarities end. Alibaba and Aliexpress are two very distinct businesses that compete in very distinct areas.

Given the aforesaid, we believe that after completing this post, you will better understand some distinct features, but if you need the most comprehensive review to select the option that best meets your demands, please visit the ‘Alibaba vs Aliexpress’ article.

Working of Alibaba

Alibaba is a B2B or Business to Business wholesale marketplace that allows various Chinese manufacturing enterprises to build stores on its website (similar to Amazon) and sell items to specific clients.

Alibaba does not own the items because it is a marketplace. Suppliers are solely accountable for the quality of their goods and the purchases that they handle. Alibaba does not require customers or sellers to make any type of direct payment; as a result, this might happen outside of the site based on e-mail or chat talks with the supplier.

So, how does Alibaba generate revenue? It accomplishes this through the “Gold Supplier” plan, a form of premium plan that Chinese suppliers may join for a charge after demonstrating that they are legitimate and verified businesses with registered capital and a physical address.

Working of AliExpress

Because AliExpress, like Alibaba, is a marketplace, it does not offer its goods. Instead, it serves as a showroom for third-party products, catering to both B2B and B2C consumers.

Although each store has its display and items, AliExpress’s sales and payment logics are quite similar to those of Amazon. Transactions are made solely through the portal, and AliExpress benefits on every transaction.

Its key advantage is that it allows the sale of a limited number of items (retail), which, unlike Alibaba’s products, cannot be changed or updated because they are already produced.

Differences Between Alibaba and AliExpress

Let’s take a closer look at the fundamental distinctions between Alibaba and AliExpress.

Quantity

Alibaba’s vendors all sell wholesale items and have a large minimum order quantity (MOQ) (minimum order quantity). In truth, many businesses do not have the items in stock but will make them according to your specifications. On the other hand, you may buy finished items on AliExpress, and consequently, you may purchase them in extremely small amounts.

Payment

Alibaba does not handle any financial transactions. Therefore, it disclaims any liability for monetary operations between consumers and suppliers. Instead of being able to pay online on AliExpress, you may get the transaction certified with Paypal.

Price

The price of an item varies greatly depending on the amount and quality of the product. Prices on Alibaba are not set in stone since they are determined by the volume of items ordered, the technical specifications necessary, and the manufacturing and delivery times. On the other side, because AliExpress is not a B2B marketplace, you will find items with a fixed price, which is usually greater than on Alibaba.

Customization

Suppliers on Alibaba make the items themselves, so they may customize and adjust them to your specifications. This means they may add a logo to an existing product, modify its design, or even design a brand new product depending on your demands. Because only ready-made things are sold here, they are unable to be altered.

Certification

Toys, beauty products, and gadgets must come with various sorts of certificates if they are to be imported and sold in the EU. When sourcing items, keep in mind that not all Chinese vendors will be able to give you the documentation. Nonetheless, you can contact the wholesaler directly through Alibaba to request items with the appropriate certificates. This is not feasible, however, if you purchase things from AliExpress. The reason is that you are purchasing ready-made items and have no method of directly contacting the provider.

Timing

When you buy anything on Alibaba, you’re asking a firm to make it for you. As a result, you’ll need to figure out how long it will take to produce, ship, and clear customs. The items you’ll see on AliExpress, on the other hand, have already been manufactured. They are delivered to the receiver via courier within a few hours, with substantially shorter delivery periods.

When it comes to deciding between Alibaba and AliExpress, it all comes down to your requirement. What kind of purchases do you intend to make? How much money do you have to spend? Because both platforms are owned by the same corporation, they have several aspects in common, such as low costs, simple payment options, and buyer protection.

There are, however, distinctions between the two. The most important thing to remember is that they were created for distinct audiences and hence provide various levels of service. One is a consumer retail portal, and the other is a wholesale portal. And now that you understand the distinction between Alibaba and AliExpress, you can make an informed decision.

This Strapless Bra From Amazon Is A Godsend For Any Woman With Big Boobs

Having big boobs is not all that it’s cracked up to be. For many, they dream of having a huge chest—why, I’m not sure. If you’re like me and you have huge boobs, every day is a nightmare. Your back hurts, you can barely shop in normal stores, and everything is expensive. The worst part is that you can’t wear certain things because you don’t want to look slutty, saggy, or gross. Strapless anything is usually a no-go.

But, recently, I discovered a strapless bra on Amazon that everyone and their mother swear by. I was skeptical at first, seeing as I have tried every style and type of strapless bra and can’t seem to find anything that supports me. But, after reading reviews, I was sold.

First, the bra comes in a lot of cute colors.

It has underwire—which is a huge plus for anyone with a huge chest because we need that support, honey.

Amazon

It may not be the cutest bra on the market, but women everywhere are saying that it is a godsend for their large chest. Just check out some of these 5-star reviews on Amazon.

Supportive for a 38DD

I’m still in shock that this strapless bra provides as much support as it does. I’m a 38DD and I had almost given up on finding a strapless solution that would work for me. Even better, it’s actually comfortable! Now that I know what size works best for me (1X), I’m going purchase the same bra in additional colors.

Mrs26

And, for a 34DDD.

I am freaking IN LOVE WITH THIS! HOLY CRAP!!! I can NEVER, I have NEVER found a bandeau to work for my 34DDD bust. The band is always gigantic or the boob area is entirely too small, it just never works. Well my gosh. I was SO skeptical ordering a medium. I was like there’s no way in h*ll this will work for me. WRONG. It’s great. Seriously. It has such stretch and the underwire actually fits too. It won’t give you much lift, but it does separate and doesn’t squish them to the sides. The band is REALLY stretchy and I have zero issues with it falling down. The fabric is thin so it won’t help you much if it’s ahem, cold. I still love it though. I’ll be ordering in every color.

-Minion

And, for an F!

Okay, I am a 32 F and this is the only comfortable and mostly supportive strapless bra I have yet to find. And I have tried them all! From wacoal’s $65 strapless to the cheap ones that are just bands. This is honestly the best. I got a size small. Hint! If you layer this one under the cheap band one it is extra perfect!

Daniella

And, it’s comfortable.

LOVE THIS BRA! It’s incredibly comfortable. Like, sleep in it comfy. Even with the underwire it’s the most comfortable bra. The wide band camouflages and smooths out any back rolls. And it stays up pretty well. I wore it under a tee for several house and didn’t have to yank it up once. I didn’t run around or do anything crazy but for normal day to day activity it was fine for me. I’m normally a 36D and ordered the medium because I wanted to make sure it was snug enough to stay put. Fit great, didn’t dig or pinch at all. I got the pink color and just ordered two more in nude and black.

12 Great Gift Ideas For Your Girlfriend Who Suffers From Anxiety

Anxiety is something that everyone deals with their own way. Some people don’t realize how crippling suffering from severe anxiety can be. It makes getting through an everyday routine almost impossible. Days are filled with fabricating the worst case scenario in all situations, no matter how farfetched it may seem. It may sound silly to some, constantly worrying, heart racing, sweating in public all happening and mostly due to trivial or even nonexistent issues.

Everyone copes with their own stresses and anxiety in their own fashion, some do so in much healthier ways than others. Something that helps me deal with my anxiety is my significant other. They understand me for who and how I am and are an anchor for me when I feel like things are too overwhelming. Just being someone I can turn to always is enough to help battle my anxious tendencies. With that being said, there are also a ton of awesome gifts out there that I find beneficial. A bunch of them you can even enjoy together. Here is a list of gift ideas for someone who suffers from anxiety.

1. Body pillow.

While body pillows come in a variety of different sizes and shapes, I know I would love being able to wrap up with a comfy pillow twice my size. It can be a substitute cuddle buddy and actually help you get a good night of sleep without the restlessness. Any type body pillow will pillow will do. If you’re interested in the top of the line 11 foot long body pillow, look no further than the Comfort U-Body Pillow.

2. Weighted blanket.

Sicking with the comfy theme, weighted blankets can help with people suffering from anxiety. The idea is a 15 to 20-pound blanket helps replicate the feeling of being held which releases oxytocin, sometimes known as the cuddle hormone. This helps combat your anxiety and honestly, no such thing as too many nice blankets, the more comfortable the better. You can grab a weighted blanket here.

3. Massage or spa day.

Need I say more? Please tell me a more relaxing experience than having a day full of massages and relaxing. This is something you can do together or with your friends. You don’t have to be an extremely anxious person, everyone deserves a nice spa day. This is just a solid good gift idea, period. Take notes, fellas.

4. Worry stones.

These worry stones come in a range of designs and colors. The idea is the super smooth stone to be held in your palm and help to soothe the person holding it through its glasslike feel. Traditionally worry stones were made of obsidian (dragon glass) which is awesome. Nowadays you can get them in all shapes from a heart to the more traditional oval shape in a variety of patterns.

5. Aromatherapy machine.

These machines diffuse different essential oils right into the air. The different oils have different purposes, many involving relaxing and refreshing qualities. You might use something like lavender oil to help relax and fall asleep, it also helps keep an awesome scent wherever it’s being used so that is what we call a win-win. Some aromatherapy machines even create soothing sounds to help you drift away to sleep.

6. Take them on a romantic hike.

Not many remedies like the good old fashion outdoors. Japanese would refer to the mental health benefits of “forest bathing”. The idea that a 30-minute walk through nature has calming mental health benefits. It’s a nice adventure for you and your significant other, not only that it come’s with a few extra benefit than enjoying nature and your favorite person.

29 Gifts From ‘Shark Tank’ For Pretty Much Everyone On Your Christmas List

Finding the perfect Christmas gift for everyone on your list is tough — mostly because they’re not you and probably like things you don’t like. Where do they get the nerve, right?

Anyway, if you’re stuck trying to shop for the cousin, parent, spouse, or co-worker you don’t really like but got in your Secret Santa drawing, try something that was featured on Shark Tank.

Gifts like…

1. This inflatable travel pillow/hoodie combo, appropriately named, that’s right: Hoodie-Pillow.

For a cheaper than you can buy a headrest in the airport, you can tackle the two biggest problems with flying: finding a comfortable sleeping position and having to acknowledge the existence of others!

2. Scrub-Daddy, the only combination father-figure/sponge you’ll ever need.

Promising and brutally honest review: “Makes cleaning almost fun!” Get a 6-pack for $8.

3. The ReadeREST, so you don’t lose your s**t looking for your headphones or glasses ever again.

Probably the only way for me not to lose something, especially my headphones or glasses, is to attach it to my clothes, and this little thing that does via magnet. Pretty cool. Price: $10.

4. Baker’s Edge, so everyone gets a corner piece, or if you’re eating the whole pan yourself, all your pieces are corner pieces.

Ok, this wasn’t one of Oprah’s Favorite Things for nothing. Price: $50.

5. Ezpz Happy Mat, so you don’t get so sick of cleaning up after your kids’ meals that you just stop feeding them.

No joke, I’ve got one. It’s legit. Easy clean-up. Dishwasher safe. I mean, sure they’re still going to throw food all over the walls, but this thing will minimize the damage for $25.

6. This floating coffee mug that protects your nice surfaces from damage, assuming you have nice surfaces.

$10 seems pretty reasonable. Especially when the alternative is your wife yelling at you to use a coaster.

7. Spike Ball, which is something that apparently all the kids are playing now.

Never played, but I saw the episode where they pitched it. It looks pretty fun. Like bocce, but for people with some level of athletic skill. $60.

8. Chewable coffee bites for when you don’t feel like standing in line at a coffee shop.

Two cups of coffee worth of caffeine for the price of like 1/10th of Starbucks.

9. Air Cork, the wine preserver for people who don’t just finish the whole bottle in one sitting, like me.

Get it for $28.00.

10. The Fizzics beer flavor enhancer, which somehow makes beer taste better.

Better beer for $119 seems like a steal.

11. Freaker, the one-size-fits-all beer coozie.

Hard to forget this episode. The guy selling these was pretty much a what I’d imagine a magician meth addict is like. Anyway, these things are pretty cool and come in a variety of styles for only $12.

12. Phone Soap, the UV sanitizer for all that feces on your iPhone.

You don’t want to know how dirty your phone really is, but for $35 you don’t need to worry about it. BONUS: Your phone also gets a nice little suntan!

13. This back support, so you do don’t look like The Hunchback of Notre Dame by the time you’re 40.

Sure, the Better Back may look silly, but not as silly as lurching around looking like you’re bent over at the waist your whole life. Price: $59.

14. One of these things you see in bathrooms a lot now.

Apparently, I’ve been taking s**ts wrong my entire life. The Squatty Potty gets me back in touch with my primal ancestry by helping me take dumps in the position nature intended. Better for your colon, and digestive system, allegedly. Price: $24.99.

15. The Chord Buddy, the easiest way to learn to play the guitar so you can bust it out at parties and have everyone hate you.

Get it for $50.

16. The One-Z nursing pillow.

Another thing I own personally. It’s a great way to multi-task (AKA, look at your phone) while nursing a newborn. Cheaper than most baby stuff, for sure.

17. Frends, AKA “those headphones you always see people wearing.”

People rave about them.

Price: $180, which isn’t bad compared to f**king Beats by Dre.

18. Unshrinkit, the only way to still fit in your high school jeans*.

*I don’t know if this will help you fit into your high school jeans, but it supposedly helps you un-shrink other stuff. $20.

19. Eco Nuts, which is also what I assume Al Gore calls his testicles.

Allegedly these reduce drying time by 10%-25%. Price: $20.

20. Simply Fit, the workout balance board I’d probably die trying.

Get your core jacked for $39.

21. Plate Topper, the ideal leftover storage solution for people as lazy as me.

Why bust out a bunch of Tupperware when you can just keep your leftovers on the plate you’re going to use later anyway? $12 for 2.

22. Hatch Baby!

This might be classic over-parenting, but using built in Wi-Fi you can keep track of your baby’s weight, feeding habits, diaper changes, and more. Beats logging it manually, which is what I did with my firstborn. Price: $250.

23. Lonely people, give yourself a back massage with the Q-Flex.

Optimized for acupressure and deep tissue massage. $24.

24. The Drain Strain no-clog sink stopper.

No more clogs, guaranteed. $11.

25. The Drop Stop will keep you from losing your phone every time you slam on your brakes.

Get it for $20.

This is the #1 selling Shark Tank product to date. Get it for $11.

27. This motion activated toilet night light.

Nothing more painful that having to turn on the bathroom light in the middle of the night. This light is not only motion activated and subtle, but it changes colors.

Get it for $11.

28. A bullet beer opener, made from real U.S. Military shell casings.

Just going to steer clear of this one politically and tell you to get one for $13.

29. SockTabs prevent you from losing the socks you wear on your feet and may or may not use for “other things,” you pervert.

Get them on “the Amazons” for $22.99

Promising Review: “This is by far the COOLEST gadget I have purchased in some time. I had no idea it was so big…..which is actually great, and it is an aromatherapy diffuser on top of it? WIN WIN, holy cow….came as a huge surprise how high of a quality it is! It reminded me of opening my iPhone!” – AMZ Customer

5. A zigzag baking pan so that every brownie has two chewy edges.

Amazon

Promising Review: “I bought this pan for my hubby because there can never be enough brownie corner pieces. This pan makes him very happy! It makes me happy because it’s a sturdy, heavy duty pan. Its nonstick surface is amazing–brownies don’t stick at all. One thing to note is that the brownies are a little thinner than they are in my 8×8 pan when we make the Ghiradelli brownie mix. We have not tried to use two mixes instead of one yet. Worth the $!” – L. Hart

6. This Spike Ball set that makes a great family gift.

Amazon

Promising Review: “First time Spikeballers and we are addicted!!! Fun for all ages and levels. We’ve played with 5 yrs old to 65 yrs old. Even a pregnant mom. Easy to take apart and pack up. We just ordered the ProBalls and the Glow in the dark Balls. Proballs are a little heavier and easy to control. Glow in the dark so the adults can play once the kids are in bed. GREAT GAME!!” – Falcon Cosby

7. A Q-Flex back and body massager for those hard to reach knots.

Amazon

Promising Review: “I originally saw this on Shark Tank and thought it was a good idea. I have purchased at least 50 different pain relief and massage tools over the years and most don’t do much or you can’t easily hold the item in place to get relief. But this is amazing. Everyone that has tried it, including my niece with Lupus and my massage therapist can’t believe how great it is. It can take pain away in minutes. In love! You will not be disappointed and you do not need to have arm strength to use. Simple instructions.” – PrincessandBuddiesMom

Promising Review: “Great for wiping your bass on the go and for hiking. They make it kind of personal with the sayings though: something like “it’s a way of life”. I’m just trying to effectively shut in the woods not join a club.” – Amazon Customer
