Ariana Grande Tweeted ‘Trash’ When Cardi B Won A Grammy For Best Rap Album

Ariana Grande—who pulled out of performing and attending the 2019 Grammy’s citing creative differences—tweeted, then immediately deleted some interesting tweets the minute Cardi B won Best Rap Album for Invasion of Privacy.

Mac Miller was also posthumously nominated for his album Swimming, along with Nipsey Hussle, Pusha T, and Travis Scott.

Grande tweeted—then instantly deleted, in succession, the following three words:

While outwardly, Grande’s tweets made it seem as though she was throwing shade at Cardi for her win, the Sweetener singer clarified that her anger was directed at the Recording Academy for inviting Miller’s parents to the awards knowing full well he wasn’t going to win.

“THEY INVITED HIS PARENTS OUT. NO,” she replied to a fan.

Grande replied to a fan account tweet, promising that her angry tweets had “nothing to do” with Cardi. “She’s not [trash] at all and that’s now what I meant,” she clarified, “and u know that.”

And once again cleared up the self-started drama by explaining how Miller’s mom, Karen, was going to “have a green suit made” for the awards.

Grande then posted images of the dress she would have worn to the Grammys, had she decided to go.

Cardi, for her part, gave a shout out to the late rapper on Instagram and said that she’s sharing the win with Miller.

“I read an article that Mac Miller’s family said that if he don’t win, they want me to win so I’m sharing this Grammy with you mother f—er. Rest in peace,” she said.

Offset Teases New Album With Graphic Footage Of Cardi B Giving Birth

Offset teased his upcoming solo album by slipping in some graphic footage of Cardi B giving birth, and people aren’t holding back thoughts.

On top of making this face every time the camera cut to him during Cardi’s performance, doddering up to stand next to her onstage as she accepted her Best Rap Album win, and inserting himself into every photograph taken of Cardi, the Migos rapper’s promo was…a lot.

The 45-second video intercuts clips of the rapper in the studio with clips his three children from previous marriages. Edited in towards the end is graphic footage of Cardi giving birth back in July.

Doctors surround Cardi, in obvious labor pain in the delivery room.

The trailer ends with a zoom on Offset’s shocked face before revealing the album’s release date, February 22nd.

The clip keeps with the family theme of the promo, but many on Twitter wondered how necessary it was.

No matter what you thought of the promo, you undoubtedly came away from it with the same expression as everyone else—Offset’s.

Cardi B And Missy Elliot Bonding Over Their Anxiety Problems Is Too Relatable

No matter how much money you make, how many awards you get, or how famous you may be, you cannot escape the harsh realities of life. For many celebrities, fame and fortune do not protect them from very real issues—such as mental health disorders, illnesses, and other misfortunes. It’s no secret that—while some songs and people claim it can—money does not buy you happiness entirely.

Recently, Cardi B opened up on Twitter slightly about struggling with anxiety. Even after a top-notch year for the female rapper—producing an award-winning album, giving birth to her daughter Kulture, and killing it all around, Cardi suffers from mental health struggles just like any other person in society.

Not only did Cardi open up about her own mental health struggles, but another female rapper who made way for everyone in the game responded with her own take. Missy Elliot, the one and only, replied saying:

Missy even took time out to answer fans who responded to her tweet.

Even comedian Sarah Silverman showed Cardi B some love and support.

But, fans all over the world reached out to both Cardi and Missy, sharing their love and prayers for both women and sharing the endless love that they have for both female rappers. Many also thanked them for opening up about something like this so that people who also suffer from anxiety feel less alone in their struggle.

Girl Scout Remixes Cardi B’s ‘Money’ To Help Sell Cookies And It’s Super Hot Fire

As you all know, it’s officially Girl Scout Cookie season—so no matter where you go, no matter how hard you try to diet, you can’t hide from those delicious Thin Mints. Every year, the scouts try to find new and exciting ways to make money—like, the one time a bunch of troop members sold cookies outside of a medical marijuana store…brilliant.

This year, one Girl Scout has found a dope way to spread the word that she’s trying to make her troop some money—by remixing Cardi B’s “Money” and having it go viral on social media. Kiki, a Girl Scout, was filmed doing a remix to the song, adding in some flavor with her favorite cookie flavors. Honestly, I like this version better than the original.

The organization shared that “Black Girl Magic” is important to them and their entire organization because it represents strength and determination.

People online were feeling this remix—so much so that they can’t stop bumping it.

With our cookie earnings, my troop and I plan activities year-round and do important things to help our community. With this year’s cookie earnings we will Troop activities and community service projects. Please support my sale so we can reach our goals. Thank you!”

Thanks to Kiki’s video, she has exceeded her goal in sales this season. We stan a real icon.

Cardi B Announces Her Marriage To Offset Is Over In A Heated Instagram Video

Cardi B and Offset, known as the rap industry’s current “power couple,” have officially decided to go their separate ways. The two, who have a baby together—Kulture—have had relationship struggles in the public eye, after fans found out that Offset had cheated on the female rapper.

Cardi B decided to tell her fans the real reason behind the couple’s split in an honest and heated Instagram video on her page. In the video, Cardi states:

So everybody been bugging me and everything, and you know I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now… and we’re really good friends, and you know we’re really good business partners, and you know he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to and we’ve got a lot of love for each other, but…things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time, and it’s nobody’s fault. It’s just like I guess we grew out of love, but we’re not together anymore.

I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father and — yeah.

She captioned the post:

There you go..peace and love

Offset, however, has a different point of view on why the two are parting. Not only does he believe it’s not his own fault, but he clearly thinks that it has to do with fans/media attention and intervention. How do we know? The Migos rapper commented on the post saying:

People on Twitter were torn about the breakup. There were some who were shocked, hurt, and heartbroken.

Others, however, think Cardi B deserves more than someone who cheats on her.

All in all, Cardi B is booming in the music business and no matter what, we know our girl will secure her own bag.
