Explore Vegan Restaurants On Your Travels

There is something about traveling that makes the food taste better. Everywhere you go there are vegan restaurants to check out. So next time you are in Denver be sure to check out picnic-style WaterCourse foods. They wooed me with a non-turkey non-brie fig jam sandwich delight and a mouthwatering cake that needed to be savored.

Not A Cruel Summer

Invest in vegan cruelty-free beauty products that will keep your skin and hair healthy. Try shampoo and conditioner by Hair ResQ. For all hair types, cruelty fee and in sustainable packaging too. Look to them for body and bath botanicals that are good for you and the planet. For your outdoor adventures, Pacifica Beauty has the sunscreen you need to save your skin this summer..

Henna Your Hair

Organically, aruvedicaly nourish and even color your hair with at-home hair care products from Henna Sooq. Made with all vegan ingredients for curly and straight hair types. Finally, there is a safer way to natural color and care for hair without the harsh chemicals.

Scrub Your Skin Cruelty-Free

OSD beauty has a coconut body scrub that will leave your skin smooth and summery fresh and does not leave any sticky residue.

Get Thee To A Sanctuary

Animal Sanctuaries are always looking for volunteers. If you find yourself in San Diego, California,  head to Campo to the Farm Animal Refuge. Reach out to them to schedule your trip in advance.

Make Your Poolside Snacks Vegan

Have your morning iced coffee with your alternative milk of choice. Morning snacks don’t have to hurt the animals. Delicious smoothies with immunity-boosting fruits and vegetables will have your metabolism boosted and your Summer energy high.

Take A Girls Trip Vegan Style

Maybe you and your compassionate friends want to head to Costa Rica? There are some amazing  vegan hotels to check out like the Mother Earth Vegan Hotel.  Eco-conscious travelers looking for tranquility and plant-based cuisine. Located in Tamarindo beach.

If you are looking for a Caribbean adventure how about visiting Pig Beach ? Visit the famous Bahamas Swimming Pigs at Pig Beach on our Bahamas Day Trips to Staniel Cay in the Exumas.

Or head to Spain and stay at one of their all vegan resorts. Whatever location you choose being vegan has never been easier and more and more vacation hot spots are embracing the vegan lifestyle.

Opt-In To Alcohol Alternatives

Who needs a ton of carb bloating beer? Opt for Sober Curious Alternative drinks. May of the brands out there taste mixologist good. You can also maintain your summer chill with CBD products to keep you zen.

Embrace Ayurvedic Eating

Dosha-based eating can enhance a plant-based diet. Kosmic kitchen has an amazing cookbook that offers seasonal ideas for all dosha types. Learn your dosha type and eat accordingly.  For example, I am a Pitta which means I have more fire. So cooling foods like cucumber, watermelon and aloe are suitable for my dosha type.

Grill Baby Grill

Vegan quinoa burgers, and alternative meat patties and dogs mean summer grilling for this hot girl vegan.  Try grilling vegetable skewers as well.

Don’t Forget The Herbs

Herbs can cool the body and aid in digestion. So add some rosemary to your spa water with lemon. Or make some lemonade with lavender and ginger. Adding mint to your ice tea can enhance your hot girl vegan summer

Add to Cart: What to bring into your closet this summer.

Put away the big florals — ASAP.

Summer is back and finding the right pieces to stay “relevant” can be stressful. No, there isn’t anything wrong with continuing last summer’s wardrobe into this summer – in this economy – we don’t blame you. But, if you are looking to find new pieces to mix and match, you are in the right spot. We will be breaking down pieces into four categories: tops, bottoms, shoes and accessories.

Top it off.

If you are over the basic tees, crop tops or tanks you’ll love these trends. For starters, high cut bodysuits are perfect to style with pants or denim shorts. Start by picking out neutral colored pieces and then slowly incorporating pinks, greens and red pieces. Go from day to night by wearing a blazer over it and then taking it off at night. Plus, who doesn’t love a girl boss moment? To maximize crop tops, switch out basic tops with a crop top with some drawstrings. This adds some detail and makes your casual look turn into casual chic. Finally, a top that has not gotten the love it deserves are bustier tops. The great thing about these tops are they aren’t here to cut out your circulation nor are they corsets. A bustier top enhances your breasts and can be a very sexy look for a girls night out.

All things short.

Sorry millennials – but low-rise mini skirts are trending.  Whether it may be denim shorts, silky skirts or a patterned skirt this will be the ultimate accessory for your fit. I recommend wearing flat shoes – sandals, sneakers, or low heels – when wearing a mini skirt. Feeling bold? Add dimension with some platform shoes, heels or strappy sandals. If you are older than 25 – do not fret – fashion has no age limit. Aim for monochrome, opt-in for skirts that aren’t too flowy, and avoid a skirt that makes you feel uncomfortable. At the end of the day, the way you style your look is your choice; I am here just to make the suggestions. So style away!

Walking into your hot girl summer.

Are we surprised that platform shoes are still in? I am not. And I am 100% for it. The higher you are, the closer to the fashion gods you are. This can vary from sneakers, heels, or platform sandals. Another shoe staple that can be transitioned from fall to summer are under the knee boots. Grab an oversized tee, your favorite denim shorts and add dimension to your look with these boots. For my high heels babes, jelly sandal heels are still trending. The best thing about these shoes comes from how minimal they are, yet they elevate your look. Mix and match your style by wearing these heels with dresses, shorts or rompers.

It’s giving sparkle.

Accessories aren’t just jewelry pieces and sunglasses, they can be a mix of different things on your outfit. For starters, silk scarves are perfect pieces to transition from spring to summer. Grab a silk scarf and place it over your head or around the neck, when wearing white linen maxi dresses. Feeling groovy? Buy a silk scarf to wear as a top with a mini-skirt for a girls night out. Shakira was right when she said her hips don’t lie — so why not emphasize yours? Body jewelry is all the rave right now. Wear it around your waist when you wear a crop top, over a silk dress or a plain white tee.  Finally, let’s not forget to add some edge here and there to our looks. Fringe was a big deal on the runways this past spring. Choose fringe hats, chokers or bracelets to spice up your look.

What will you add to your cart this summer?

How to Have a Hot Girl Summer 2021

While many girls are focused on getting a summer body to enjoy their hot girl summer to the fullest, the truth is that this is not an essential requirement.

Despite popular belief, a hot girl summer has nothing to do with physical appearance. A hot girl summer is primarily a mindset. It is about living your life to the fullest and adopting an attitude (an aura) of a girl beaming with confidence.

It is about being true to oneself and realizing one essential truth to life – you only live once. This is why it’s important to break some myths and misconceptions regarding hot girl summer (as a phenomenon) and try to explain what this is really supposed to be about.

Now, a lot of people had to put their summer 2020 plans on hold. This means that in 2021, there is so much catching up to do.

Here are some ideas to help you get started.

Pursue Your Goals

The first thing you need to understand is that a hot girl summer can be about anything you want it to be. You see:

● You don’t have to go traveling abroad.
● You don’t have to spend your entire summer partying.
● There is no clear-cut definition or a requirement for something to qualify as hot girl summer.

While traveling and partying are generally involved, this is simply because these activities are there to help you leave your comfort zone in a fun and engaging way. As a result, these activities can be quite empowering.

It is all about being true to yourself. So, if you want to spend your entire summer bingeing Netflix or spending time doing indoor activities, there’s no one to tell you this is wrong. What a hot girl summer is all about is putting yourself in the first place. This means pursuing your own goals, dreams, and desires without allowing anything trivial to hold you back.

It is about discovering your real possibilities and restrictions without letting your preconceived beliefs hold you back.

Try New Things

By discovering new hobbies or interests, you have a chance to open up a whole new chapter in your life. Sometimes it merely takes trying something new in order to turn a long-time interest into a life-long obsession.

Some of these activities can even be great for self-growth. For instance, discovering new individual sports can help you in so many different ways. Unlike in group sports, there’s no idle time, which is why individual sports also boost your mental focus. They also help you get fit and, since in individual sports you are the one doing all the work, it empowers you to become more self-reliant. Needless to say, any physical activity can help you get in shape.

While taking suggestions is not necessarily a bad thing, it’s usually better to rely on your own needs and wants. There are probably a lot of interests that you either repressed over the course of years under the excuse that starting out would be “inconvenient” or “difficult.” All you need to get motivated to take this final step is to understand why this is actually worth it.

Even better, you should try a new look. Why not push boundaries with your own style? Dye your hair in a new color or buy an outfit you never before considered? A fresh new look could be more than just an aesthetic upgrade – it can also be a sign of a major shift in your mindset.

Increase Interest in Self-care

There’s no form of self-love that is purer than self-care. If you wanted to make someone else feel good, you would start treating them right. So, why not start treating yourself like someone you loved.

Chances are that you already know the way, and it’s time that you abandoned that dumb “don’t watch what I do, listen to what I say” mentality. To make the long story short, start listening to your own advice – at least those tips you’re giving to other people.

What does this self-care include?

Well, if you want to be really thorough and make a real change, you need to start by getting a good night’s sleep every night (or at least as many nights as possible). You need to drink more watereat higher quality food (even if you don’t care about calories or weight loss), and drop some of your worst habits. Other forms of self-care include skincare, paying more attention to your personal style, and fitness. Finding an exhaust vent either in the form of physical activity or meditation is also incredibly important.

One of the things that people often downplay the importance of is – removing all the negative/toxic people from your life. Changing the company that you keep might just be one of the best acts of self-care. It is also the quickest way to change your mindset.

To make the long story short, investing in your long-term wellbeing (in any form) counts as self-care. This summer should be a turning point in this regard.

Do Something Adventurous

Previously, we said that you don’t have to do something adventurous to have your summer fulfilled. It’s essential that we clarify before some people start interpreting this “don’t have to” as “you shouldn’t.” Going on an adventure is always a great idea, and there are several reasons behind this.

First of all, you can have as much (if not more) fun as a single girl traveling abroad as if you were to travel in a group. Sure, the notion itself might sound a bit terrifying, but there are so many steps of precaution that you can take to make it safer.Attending a music festival abroad might be the first thing that crossed your mind. However, some people are still reluctant to go into such large crowds.

There are some who find themselves restricted in their familiar surroundings, which is why going somewhere where no one knows you becomes quite liberating. It is easier to act differently when you’re somewhere where no one recognizes you. Once you get a taste of this freedom, you might feel empowered to stir things up when you get back home. Sometimes, it only takes a little push for things never to be the same they were before.

In Conclusion

All you need to do is start by adopting the mindset of a hot girl. From this point on, pursuing any of your dreams or goals will, by definition, become an act of a hot girl summer. In other words, it’s all just a matter of perception and attitude. The best part is that both of these things are 100% in your control. All you need to do is abandon your fears and be ready to seize this unrestricted power.

Having fun, feeling confident in your own body, and generally having the impression that you’re going in the right direction is what a hot girl summer is all about.
