K-pop has taken the world by storm, quickly becoming one of the biggest genres in music. You’ve heard of groups like BTS and Black Pink, but over 50 groups debut each year, and that number is growing exponentially. It feels like there’s a new hit song every week, but K-pop is often written off as something just for teen girls, but it is so much more than that. (check out this reaction here) The popularity of Korean music has helped people learn about Korean culture and the Korean language. Do you need the perfect K-pop playlist for summer? Give these ten songs a listen!

My Top Ten For Summer 2020

Summer time is the perfect time to enjoy nature and the people that you love.

It is a time to unwind and have fun. And it is a time to work on yourself. It is a time for love and laughter.  Here is a list of things that I will be enjoying this summer.

1. Grilling:

We have been cooped up all winter cooking and heating up the house. Now that the sun is out and the summer heat is turning up I am so excited to cook outside. There are so many benefits. It is such a healthy way to eat. You can grill almost anything that you want, and bonus for those of us who hate the clean up after we cook. Most of the mess is throw away. Take that foil off the BBQ and toss it in the trash.

2. Laying by the pool:

There is something about pulling a towel out of the closet and laying in your favorite lawn chair with a glass of sweet tea while the dog plays in the back yard. Then jumping in to get cooled down.

3. Driving with the windows down:

Feel that fresh air coming in. Take in the moment. Breath and know that this is a time to live. Everything is so at alive right now, the plants, the animals. The sun is shinning and we are here lets enjoy the freshness of life.

4. Connect with nature:

Take the dog for a walk. Without music and enjoy the life going on around you. Jump on the boat with family or friends. Grab a beer and jump into the middle of the lake. Feel how small you really are in this great big world and put life back into perspective.
