Best Water Shoes For Summer

Water shoes are one of the best at what it does. These shoes are made for various water-based adventures to ensure that whatever amount of water enters your feet gets drained quite fast and easily, without having to frequently remove your shoes to drain the water by yourself. Though there are water shoes for various seasons, the one particular season during which these shoes sell a lot is the summer season.

You should know that when it comes to water shoes for summer, there are a few things you have to look for when buying those shoes. These are; a proper fit, proper water drainage, and breathability. A good-fitting shoe is always a must, not just for water shoes. Good water drainage and breathability mean the shoe can keep your feet dry quite easily. This is very important as, during summer, any leftover wet patches can mix with feet’ sweat and in the long run can lead to irritations and harmful skin diseases.

Our Recommended Water Shoes For Summer

With that aside, here are some of the tops recommended water shoes available on the market, that are summer-season friendly. With that said, make sure you look into Nortiv8 if you need a trusted vendor for your water shoes. Nortiv8 has been in the market for a long time, and unlike other vendors, they specialize in shoes for mountain activities, adventures, and such. Thus, when buying water shoes from them, you can have a peaceful mind knowing that they know exactly what they are doing. As for the quality, they have always been top-class, and the life cycle of the shoes are really good as well. With the affordable price range for all their water shoes, once you have a look at their collection, you just can’t resist buying from them.

Comfortable Water Sandals

If you know sandals, you will definitely know that they are by far the most comfiest shoes available for men and women. This is true for water sandals as well. Of all the different types of water shoes, water sandals are comfortable to be worn for a longer period, without having to constantly worry about any foot pain. In addition, since water sandals are quite open, exposing the majority of the feet to constant fresh air, you can be assured that they will always dry off any water and will never have any sand sticking to them.

Beach-Friendly Water Socks

Sometimes, there might be situations where you want to engage in water activities, but water sandals and water shoes might feel like overkill. These situations could either be swimming or a walk on the beach. For all such activities, water socks are your better option. This is mainly because these water socks are relatively lightweight and thin as compared to the others. Hence, it won’t strain too much on your feet and thus can be worn for a longer period of time. The majority of the water socks in the market are usually made of either neoprene or lycra, both of which are really great options for water-based activities. The water socks can also be worn together with your scuba gear.

Lightweight Water Shoes

A lightweight water shoe can come in handy in situations where you might have to carry your water shoes to a particular adventure spot instead of wearing them all the way to your destination. These water shoes have plenty of holes on the bottom of the shoe that helps in easy water drainage. In addition, these shoes from Nortiv8 are extremely flexible, making them easy to carry in a backpack without taking up much space.

Sturdy Water Boots

These water boots are exactly what their name suggests. They are sturdy and are also the best option on this list when it comes to protection. These shoes are made of strong and top-quality material and are capable of protecting your feet from almost any situation faced in your adventure. This can be anything from accidental toe stubbing to making sure no sharp objects enter your shoe when in water or on dry land. Due to this, these shoes are one of the best options for hiking and other hard mountain-based water adventures.

Boat Shoes

Boat shoes are another type of water shoes. They are just your normal moccasins, made out of quick-drying leather. Even though the lightweight water shoes or the water sandals mentioned above can be worn in your various sea adventures like yacht life, the boat shoes are always a better option. Though keep in mind that these shoes are not the best when it comes to water drainage, and also have only okayish shoe traction. Hence, if you plan not to immerse your feet in the water or would walk on slippery surfaces, these shoes are not the best choice. But as long as you stay away from such situations, you can be assured that these boat shoes are way more stylish looking and comfortable than any of your other water shoes and are suitable for summer as well.

Final Thoughts

To conclude, even though many other shoes can be worn for water-based activities, water shoes are always a better option. But as always, before buying your shoes, make sure you take the points mentioned above for your summer water shoes into consideration. In addition, always buy your water shoes from a trusted seller so that they will last you a long time.

Things to Do During the Summer Break

While a lot of people look forward to the summer break, knowing in advance where their adventure will start, this is not always the case. The paradox of choice is a real psychological issue, and sometimes, having too many options can make it impossible for you to decide.

Do you have to go out partying? Of course not, but you definitely should if that’s your thing! Is it ok if you spend your summer break productively and focus on self-improvement? Sure!

Then again, you don’t have to be as ambitious. You don’t have to spend your summer break doing anything big. Sometimes, a small, meaningful activity like climbing a tree or going bird watching.

So, with all those who are confused about what their options are, here are a couple of things you might want to consider during the summer break.

Learn a new skill

Learning a new skill is the most productive thing you can do. It opens up new possibilities, enhances your CV, and even brings the satisfaction of a personal accomplishment. The problem lies in the fact that learning a new skill sometimes seems quite intimidating.

Keep in mind that in order to master a skill, you need at least 10,000 hours of actively doing it. The majority of craft-learning programs last about three years, while it may take you years to become proficient at learning a language. In other words, doing any of this during the summer break is off the table. Still, you can use this as an opportunity to get started.

Moreover, the concept of microlearning is a game-changer. With the help of an online course or just a simple YouTube video, you can easily learn how to make a tie knot, do your own makeup flawlessly, or make sourdough at home. Every single one of these skills counts. You just have to find the right choice for you.

Socialize and practice your people skills

Regardless of what you do, your people skills will determine how far you go. They will determine your ability to communicate with a client, impress your employer, and establish trust with your partner far quicker. So, how do you get better at it? Well, like with any other skill – through practice.

Go out there and meet new people. Learn how to actively listen and interact with people. Now, partying is not the only way to meet new people. Courses and educational programs are a great alternative for those who are trying to be more productive this summer. Participating in an artistic or educational experience through a special program may give you exactly what you were looking for and more.

Seeing as how some of these programs have customized community outreach, finding the right place to start will be even easier. So, why is community outreach important? Namely, they improve learning, boost civic engagement, and strengthen communities. Coincidentally, all three of these things will check boxes on your summer break to-do list. An altruistic note that comes with all of it is just a cherry on top.

Indulge in a hobby you’ve neglected

A lot of people neglect a hobby believing that it’s a waste of their time and resources. However, this is not always the most productive thing out there. Even the most productive person in the world needs a bit of help to unwind, and this method needs to be both personal and meaningful. Some people find yoga and meditation to be helpful, but this is not everyone’s cup of tea.

It’s probably been a while since you’ve last binge-watched a series, played a videogame, or engaged in a DIY carpentry project. So, why not take a whole week to do just that? Tell everyone that you’re unavailable and focus inward. Then, when you go back to your regular obligations, try to find some time every single week to do one of these things.

Some of the world’s most successful people condition themselves through a self-reward system. Still, for this to work, it needs to be both deserved and well-dosed. You need to start rewarding yourself for little victories. Not just treat yourself once you get your degree or get a raise on your part-time job.

Reconnect with nature

With more and more people living in an urban environment, we’re slowly losing touch with nature. Now, this is not just a matter of preference. An original human being is a creature of the wilds, which is why disconnecting from nature for too long may have serious consequences on your psyche.

Some people believe that just going into a park is enough, while others go into a full survival mode and decide to go hardcore camping. The truth is that the way you approach these matters is far more than where you go or how difficult a task is ahead of you. A picnic in a local part, climbing a tree, and running barefoot on the grass can be all that you need. The texture of grass itself is so therapeutic that even artificial grass may give you some of this effect.

Most importantly, it’s almost completely free and (potentially) 10 minutes from where you live.

On the other hand, camping with your friends and spending 90% of the time playing a mobile game or browsing Instagram (if you have the signal) will completely defeat the purpose of the journey. In other words, the spirit of this excursion matters far more than how complex it is to plan and execute.

Explore your own city

You would be surprised to learn just how many people don’t know the first thing about the city that they’re living in. Sure, they may have explored their own neighborhood and know their daily commute by heart, but what about the areas that are still in the fog? Well, why not make an effort to explore as much as you can?

You can even gamify the experience with the help of a couple of tricks. For instance, you can roleplay a tourist and try all the “touristy” stuff first. You can also go on a foodie adventure and make a plan of all the restaurants that you always walked by but never actually listened to. Another great idea is for you to consider going on a staycation. This is a completely new concept that could completely change your view on the concept of vacationing as a whole.

Lastly, you can attend local events and try new things. Needless to say, it can give you a completely new point of view even regarding a place where you’ve spent most of your life.

In Conclusion

Regardless if you choose to spend your summer break unwinding or self-improving, there are always so many ways to do it. In other words, the world is your oyster, but if oysters aren’t your thing, you can always go with something more to your liking.

Eight Ways To Make The Rest Of Your Summer, Sweet.

Summertime blues are heading our way as we are nearing August. Maybe you have not done all of the things you were hoping to do this Summer in June or the beginning of July. The good news is there is still time. Here are eight things you should do before this Summer comes to a close.

1. Meditate

It is not too late to grab introspection, a clear mental slate and some manifested optimism to take you through the dog days of Summer and into the Fall Season. Find a quiet place and make it a ten-minute timeout from your busy schedule and your beckoning devices. Check out the Calm App for some meditations that will set your intention for today and beyond.

2. Get On The Water

Any water sport will do. Maybe you want to try Stand Up Paddleboard or Sup Yoga? Kayaking or Surfing? Heck, a pool noodle can be considered a water sport. Just get outside and enjoy the sunshine and all that summer has to offer you. Just remember the sunscreen!

3. Have Cooling Foods

The Summer heat can slow us down and lethargy means FOMO amps up. Try cooling foods such as watermelon, cucumber, pineapple and mint. Avoid hot spices and take in more turmeric and citrus fruits. Making most meals salad-based will also keep you cool.

4. Summertime Picnic

Get outside and have a picnic to remember with your gal pals, bestie or beau.  Easy-to-pack bento boxes help you easily pack your feast while keeping the mess away. Some summer wine or sangria,  and your favorite foods will pair well with good company.

5. Exercise Early

An early run, hike or morning yoga will wake up the body before temperatures rise. So plan your workouts around the am before those zoom calls and meetings.

6. See A Concert

We were so isolated for years and concerts were canceled and missed. Now is the time to support your local band or favorite one coming into town. Whether it be a concert or festival, nothing screams summer more than a rocking night of music.

7. Get The Perfect Pedicure

Summer nail hues just hit different. Pastels and lots of shimmer will leave your toes sand pretty and sandal worthy.

8. Spend Your Evenings Outside

Summer only lasts a few months and the cool breeze will call you back inside soon enough. So have that bonfire, check out that drive-in, sit out on your patio for evening drinks and watch the fireflies. Sleep under the stars and take that evening stroll on the sand. Because Summer is the season for adventure, warm days and cool nights. A time for us to reset our minds and dream of what is next.

5 Tips To Save Your Skin This Summer

Summer is the time of sunshine, warm weather, and swimming. However, it’s also the time of sunburn, sweat, and chlorine.

If you’re anything like me, you live for the few months of summer when you can wear tank tops, bask in the sun, and have days by the water. However, as a makeup artist and skincare enthusiast, I know that summer is one of the most brutal times for your skin. But, there are things you can do to save the skin you’re in, while still enjoying the dog days of summer.

1. Use Sunscreen

If you take nothing else from this article, take this: USE. SUNSCREEN. It is estimated that one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime. That’s a pretty big chance of something that I’m sure none of us want to develop. Thankfully, skincare brands and even sunscreen brands are all over it. An example is Spot My UV detection stickers which tell you when it is time to reapply sunscreen.

It’s hard to find a skincare product that doesn’t already have SPF in it, including primers, moisturizers, lotions, foundations, etc. In my opinion, that’s worth spending a few extra dollars on so that you can “set it and forget it.” However, if you are looking for just a sunscreen instead of a makeup product, Neutrogena created products that are safe for your skin – including a specifically breakout-free sunscreen lotion for us who have acne-prone skin. Trust me – if you can do something so simple to help protect yourself from something so serious, do it.

2. Moisturize

A common misconception of skincare is that if you’re producing oil on your skin (specifically your face), you don’t need moisturizer. Let me squash that lie right now. If you have oily skin, that means your body doesn’t produce enough moisture so it’s working overtime to develop what you don’t have enough of. Using a moisturizer will save your skin – yes, even in sweaty weather. Honestly, especially in sweaty weather.

Moisturizer should be a part of everyone’s skincare routine, no matter their skin type. This is especially true when you’re skin may be taking in some extra sunshine. To keep your skin in check, moisturize at least once a day – right after you wash your face. For my makeup-wearing people, this should be twice a day: once in the morning and once at night after you take your makeup off.

3. Cooling Spray

I live in the south which means brutal heat and humidity. Hello 100° weather, hello sweat… The elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about. But I have news for you: everyone sweats. However, that doesn’t mean you have to really suffer through it. Let’s all thank the skincare gods that they’ve come up with an easy fix.

I’ve always been an advocate for Mario Badescu products. Although some may be a little pricey, I have yet to encounter one that doesn’t do what it says. Their facial refreshing sprays are no different. Like a good skincare brand should do, they’ve produced several different sprays for different skin types and skin concerns:

  1. Aloe, herbs, and rose water
  2. Aloe, cucumber, and green tea
  3. Aloe, chamomile, and lavender
  4. Aloe, sage, and orange blossom

All with stellar reviews, these sprays may just be the cooling sensation you need in the dead heat and humidity of summer.

4. Check the UV Index

The Ultraviolet Index (UV index) is a measurement created in the 90s used to find the strength of sunburn-producing ultraviolet radiation. Don’t let the word radiation scare you. In simpler (and less scary) terms, it’s the unit of measurement to see how intense the sun’s rays are. The scale is color-coded and number-coded and goes from 1-11+. The lower the number, the lower the exposure.

The lower the number, the “safer” it is to be out in the sun since there’s less sun exposure. Before you go out and tan, check your local UV index to see how long you can safely spend outside, what the recommended SPF is, etc.

5. Hydrate

Let’s be honest, we all should probably be doing this a lot more than we currently do. However, this is especially pertinent in the summertime. Drinking water is said to help clear up your skin – and trust me, it really does. Especially if you use sunscreen you don’t normally use, water is essential to keep your skin in tip-top shape.

Hydration is also essential when it comes to combatting heatstroke or other side effects caused by sun exposure. Of course, other help for heatstroke is cold water exposure (pools, ice baths, cold showers), rest, a colder environment… It may take away from your sun time, but it’s worth it to keep your body’s equilibrium in check.

Summertime can be relaxing, fun, exciting, and anything else you want it to be. In using these five tips, you can help to make sure your skin has the same amount of fun you do.

The Many Times Of August

August is filled with a lot of posts about different things all throughout the month. School starts for the little kids, teenagers, and college kids get ready to start the next phase of their life.

August has a going on in the time span of thirty-one days. Summer comes to an end for a part of the world and makes way to the fall of the year.

Summer was filled with sunshine, beaches, swimming, and parties galore. And Summer was full of friends, fun, late nights, and all around happiness for most teenagers.

Teenagers spent the summer having fun with friends, prepping for college, partying, or working to save up money for the school year. Teens adore summer like no other.

Summer is the favorite time of most of the world’s population for clear to see reasons. Summer has the late nights longed for, beaches that are loved, and all the time to just hang out and not be stressed that is so necessary.

All that was put to and end on the first day in August. August means school is back in town.

August means that for most school starts within a week or two. Some people get lucky and start school in September and can soak up more fun in the sun.

August is full of teens in school, and little kids clinging to their mom or dad out of fear of school for the first time.

There are some moms and dads sad to tell their teens goodbye as they go off to college for the first time. Some of those teens will be moving hours or states away from their family for the first time.

Those teens are probably really excited to be going so far away from home on their own for the first time. Who can blame them? Everyone wants to spread their wings at some point.

August is filled with the last rays of summer, the start of school, tears from parents that will miss their kids, and kids along with teens that dread the start of school.

Summer starts to wean into fall around the end of August. The weather will start to change. Football season starts and the teams and marching bands come alive.

Football is one of the main attractions about August that most of the male and some female population love as well. Band kids are the life of halftime and pep rallies so they are not forgotten.

August is full of all types of entertainment and different parts of life for many people so it is no wonder the month is packed of things to do.

How to Have a Hot Girl Summer 2021

While many girls are focused on getting a summer body to enjoy their hot girl summer to the fullest, the truth is that this is not an essential requirement.

Despite popular belief, a hot girl summer has nothing to do with physical appearance. A hot girl summer is primarily a mindset. It is about living your life to the fullest and adopting an attitude (an aura) of a girl beaming with confidence.

It is about being true to oneself and realizing one essential truth to life – you only live once. This is why it’s important to break some myths and misconceptions regarding hot girl summer (as a phenomenon) and try to explain what this is really supposed to be about.

Now, a lot of people had to put their summer 2020 plans on hold. This means that in 2021, there is so much catching up to do.

Here are some ideas to help you get started.

Pursue Your Goals

The first thing you need to understand is that a hot girl summer can be about anything you want it to be. You see:

● You don’t have to go traveling abroad.
● You don’t have to spend your entire summer partying.
● There is no clear-cut definition or a requirement for something to qualify as hot girl summer.

While traveling and partying are generally involved, this is simply because these activities are there to help you leave your comfort zone in a fun and engaging way. As a result, these activities can be quite empowering.

It is all about being true to yourself. So, if you want to spend your entire summer bingeing Netflix or spending time doing indoor activities, there’s no one to tell you this is wrong. What a hot girl summer is all about is putting yourself in the first place. This means pursuing your own goals, dreams, and desires without allowing anything trivial to hold you back.

It is about discovering your real possibilities and restrictions without letting your preconceived beliefs hold you back.

Try New Things

By discovering new hobbies or interests, you have a chance to open up a whole new chapter in your life. Sometimes it merely takes trying something new in order to turn a long-time interest into a life-long obsession.

Some of these activities can even be great for self-growth. For instance, discovering new individual sports can help you in so many different ways. Unlike in group sports, there’s no idle time, which is why individual sports also boost your mental focus. They also help you get fit and, since in individual sports you are the one doing all the work, it empowers you to become more self-reliant. Needless to say, any physical activity can help you get in shape.

While taking suggestions is not necessarily a bad thing, it’s usually better to rely on your own needs and wants. There are probably a lot of interests that you either repressed over the course of years under the excuse that starting out would be “inconvenient” or “difficult.” All you need to get motivated to take this final step is to understand why this is actually worth it.

Even better, you should try a new look. Why not push boundaries with your own style? Dye your hair in a new color or buy an outfit you never before considered? A fresh new look could be more than just an aesthetic upgrade – it can also be a sign of a major shift in your mindset.

Increase Interest in Self-care

There’s no form of self-love that is purer than self-care. If you wanted to make someone else feel good, you would start treating them right. So, why not start treating yourself like someone you loved.

Chances are that you already know the way, and it’s time that you abandoned that dumb “don’t watch what I do, listen to what I say” mentality. To make the long story short, start listening to your own advice – at least those tips you’re giving to other people.

What does this self-care include?

Well, if you want to be really thorough and make a real change, you need to start by getting a good night’s sleep every night (or at least as many nights as possible). You need to drink more watereat higher quality food (even if you don’t care about calories or weight loss), and drop some of your worst habits. Other forms of self-care include skincare, paying more attention to your personal style, and fitness. Finding an exhaust vent either in the form of physical activity or meditation is also incredibly important.

One of the things that people often downplay the importance of is – removing all the negative/toxic people from your life. Changing the company that you keep might just be one of the best acts of self-care. It is also the quickest way to change your mindset.

To make the long story short, investing in your long-term wellbeing (in any form) counts as self-care. This summer should be a turning point in this regard.

Do Something Adventurous

Previously, we said that you don’t have to do something adventurous to have your summer fulfilled. It’s essential that we clarify before some people start interpreting this “don’t have to” as “you shouldn’t.” Going on an adventure is always a great idea, and there are several reasons behind this.

First of all, you can have as much (if not more) fun as a single girl traveling abroad as if you were to travel in a group. Sure, the notion itself might sound a bit terrifying, but there are so many steps of precaution that you can take to make it safer.Attending a music festival abroad might be the first thing that crossed your mind. However, some people are still reluctant to go into such large crowds.

There are some who find themselves restricted in their familiar surroundings, which is why going somewhere where no one knows you becomes quite liberating. It is easier to act differently when you’re somewhere where no one recognizes you. Once you get a taste of this freedom, you might feel empowered to stir things up when you get back home. Sometimes, it only takes a little push for things never to be the same they were before.

In Conclusion

All you need to do is start by adopting the mindset of a hot girl. From this point on, pursuing any of your dreams or goals will, by definition, become an act of a hot girl summer. In other words, it’s all just a matter of perception and attitude. The best part is that both of these things are 100% in your control. All you need to do is abandon your fears and be ready to seize this unrestricted power.

Having fun, feeling confident in your own body, and generally having the impression that you’re going in the right direction is what a hot girl summer is all about.

8 Signs You’re In A Committed Relationship With Ice Cream

Who needs a boyfriend anyway…? Ice Cream is my BAE.

1. “I’m full,” does not include ice cream

We may be bloated, nauseous, uncomfortable or anything in between, but that’s not stopping us.

We can —and we will— make room for BAE.

We could’ve just finished thanksgiving dinner and had to unzip our pants just so we could breathe but, offer us ice cream and the word “YES!” is the only word in our vocabulary

2. The ice cream emoji is always in your “recently used”

Your texts often read:

“Wanna get ice cream?!

“I seriously need ice cream right now”

“Did you see Rachel’s ice cream Insta?! Seriously drooling”

“Babe, do ya think you could bring over some ice cream? I really need it, today was rough.”

3. You have an Ice Cream parlor bucket list

Big Gay Ice Cream, Emack and Bolio’s, and Yogurt and Such were crossed off this list years ago…

But there’s at least one ice cream parlor in every state you’ve been dreaming about.

You WILL get there before you die.

It’s on the bucket list, so basically its your life goal…

4. You’re a bit of an ice cream snob

Ben and Jerry’s just wont do…

Nothing from the supermarket is the real deal.

It’s sad, but we all know it’s true.

I didn’t ask for a side of freezer burn…

5. You laugh at those who think Sorbet is “just like ice cream”

HA!

You’re kidding, right?

Sorbet and Ice cream are like night and day, like cat and dog!

We all know Sorbet is just a sad excuse for all the dieters out there.

You know, the one’s who pretend they really love eating plain chicken for every meal…

6. You find yourself craving ice cream every night, including frigid winters

We just don’t see how the season has anything to do with our ice cream craving.

If we love ice cream in the summer, we’re still going to love it in the winter…

We don’t expect you and your boyfriend to pick an off season…RUDE.

7. You find yourself whispering “I love you”

You’re so sweet and pretty.

You are always there for me when I need you, and you never disappoint me.

You are so desirable, and you always keep me wanting more.

You always hit the right spot…

I love you!

8. You’re passionate when you discuss your love

It was truly incredible.

I’ve never had anything like it…

It was so rich, silky, and mmmm!

I still dream about it…

You NEED to try it!

7 Signs You’re Meant to Live Near a Beach

I’ve been spending every summer at the beach since I was 2 years old. Needless to say, I look forward to those warmer months as soon as we start to get that first chilly day in the fall. And don’t even get me started on winter – the holidays are enjoyable for a bit, and then I’m pretty much over it.

This year will actually be the first summer I won’t be living at the beach (what do you mean I have to be a real person with a full-time job?), but of course I plan on heading there every weekend that I possibly can.

Here are a few indications that you’re destined to live near a beach one day:

  1. While some get bothered by sand and the concept of being barefoot 90% of the time, you wouldn’t have it any other way.

You appreciate the notion of being carefree, and the simplicity of life is appealing to you. You also don’t need to live in an extravagant, fast-paced city to be content. Instead, good friends, good weather, and good times are just about all you need.

The ironic thing is when I was a baby I initially refused to go on the beach because I was “scared” of it. My mom was consistently forced to attempt to console me as I threw a public temper tantrum about having to touch the greatly-feared sand. I have no real explanation for this, but obviously had a change of heart.

  1. You have a summer playlist, and you listen to it all year long.

Even in the dead of winter, you find nothing wrong with blasting feel-good, beach jams, and pretending you’re “knee-deep in the water somewhere.” Throwbacks are never left out of the mix, either. “Ocean Avenue” by Yellowcard, anyone? Plus, let’s be real- you just can’t trust anybody who doesn’t enjoy listening to “Feeling This” by Blink 182 from time to time.

  1. To you, there’s no such thing as being too tan.

You’re convinced that you’re as pale as a ghost in the winter when you’re still about 3 shades darker than all of your friends. In the summer, you’re approaching the territory of changing races.

  1. You don’t understand people who take skiing and snowboarding trips.

Wait….people actually enjoy participating in outdoor activities when it’s cold out? But why?

  1. You completely lack an adequate winter wardrobe.

What do you mean it’s not acceptable to wear cropped tops in the middle of January?

  1. Your pre-teen years consisted of meeting boys on the boardwalk and texting all your friends about your “summer romance.”

He took you out on a “date” to the arcade and kissed you on the cheek afterward – I guess you can say things got pretty serious.

Clearly, your future husband will spot you running into the ocean Baywatch-style and confess his undying love for you.

  1. The water is never too cold.

You actually get upset when your friends dip their feet in the ocean for a millisecond and then chicken out. Honestly, it might be necessary to hand them another drink – they won’t be so scared after that. (Just don’t let them drown – there may have been a few close calls during my Senior Week 2010.)

Don’t worry, beach bums – only 83 days until the first day of summer!

You were stressing 24/7, but you need to accept that some things are just beyond your control. So remember – there will be no progress if you don’t let yourself rest a bit.

So time to get a spa weekend, spa day, or to visit some yoga retreat. You are imbalanced, and you need to get back on track to continue with your streak of victories. You need peace and quiet and a round of meditation on the beach in the sunset. The scent of the sea and sand are sometimes the best medicine.

It is not easy being you, Libra. You are the diplomat. You are the one that is holding your crew together and making sure everyone is happy, and making sure that you understand their feelings in the right way. The great news is that you will manage to get your praise because we know you are working hard. But the one thing will change – you will finally put your feelings to the right place, where they intend to be. It is cool to be there for others, but taking care of yourself needs to be a priority.

Your favorite activities – you are one of the most beautiful signs of the zodiac, so don’t be afraid to show it. Enjoy long days at the beach and find a new hobby. Learn to dance. Make crystal jewelry – unleash your creativity because you deserved it.

Scorpio

Oh, the most misunderstood sign of the Zodiac. There is so much injustice done to you because you are something like Karen of the Zodiac family. And that is not true at all. This year for you will be a bit more dreamy and romantic. It is time to reconnect with that side of you.

You will be daring and inclined in taking risks…. So for you daredevils of the zodiac, it is maybe time to try something like paragliding, bungee jumping, etc. You will need your dose of adrenaline to balance that calm, romantic mood you are currently in. There is a chance of reconciling with your former partner and restarting love once again. Don’t be afraid to show your vulnerable side.

Sagittarius

Free spirits of the Zodiac are now in a very strange place in their lives. You are not happy with your work and your routine. And you’ve always been a tough one who does things alone. Destiny is calling you. You are trying to keep your own integrity and everything in order.

Being a free spirit is never easy, but you are now in doubt since destiny is sending unique partnership opportunities. Try welcoming them with your arms open wide. You are in a state of constant change, so it is in your nature to be in neverending motion. What to do this summer? Travel. Take your spiritual journey. Try some new exotic foods. But knowing you will relax too much, don’t forget to do your cardio. Jumping a rope, signing up for energetic sports like racquetball will keep you fit and energized!

Capricorn

Capricorns are hard workers of the Zodiac. Disciplined ones that are following their routine religiously. Last year was an emotional roller coaster for you.

You are drained both emotionally and tired of hard work a bit. It is time to learn to build your confidence all over again. But before you start with a new phase this summer, turn around for a second and think about past friendships and relationships that you left behind. There is something that keeps you from going on. Apologize for the way you are sometimes treating people.

Make this summer about reconciliation with your friends. Focus on more team activities but balance it with your time alone. We know you need it.

Aquarius

Aquarius felt bored past year, and this year wasn’t much eventful either. You felt static. It is not your natural state. You are missing your friends and going out very much. This summer will help you get your mojo back. You need to stop being so hard on yourself. This year is about pushing you from your comfort zone, which would be really helpful.

Summer is about getting back on track, having more fun with your friends, and meeting new people. Try leaving the past behind and stop spying on your ex’s Instagram profile. Focus on going out and try losing up a bit. Swimming, drinking cocktails, and getting tanned will make you feel more energized and ready to get back to the dating scene.

Pisces

Your world is changing, dear Pisces. You were focused on gaining more financial benefits, but somehow you lost what really matters. This year it will change. Your home and your family are taking the spotlight. You will strengthen the bonds you have with your family, and you will finally find your balance.

So which activities will be best for you? Take a vacation with your family! You can finally enjoy some quality family time. Take off your cellphone and try not to think about the work. Work will be in the spotlight somewhere in the fall but in the meantime – remember that your heart is where your home is!
