The third official season of The Handmaid’s Tale has been released by Hulu and holy sh*t—things are about to get real. We left off in Season 2 with Offred attempting to escape to Canada with her newborn daughter, Nicole. Instead of leaving, however, she handed off Nicole to Ofglen, so she can stay behind to rescue her other daughter, Hannah.
In this trailer, Offred’s voiceover talks about the resistance—but, points out that, officially, there is no such thing as a resistance because there is no one who “wants to leave” Gilead. However, the resistance is alive and well, and Offred is looking to build a team from the inside out—calling on both Nick and Serena to join her side.
The trailer showcases the epic revolution shaping up in Gilead, and it looks like it’s about to be explosive (literally, someone’s house is literally on fire).

I had stopped watching Handmaid's Tale early on in season 2 because it was just so dark and taxing but the season 3 trailer posted on Instagram today is fucking amazing that I'm really tempted to go back to this show.
