Everyone loves to eat, but not everyone loves to bake. For others, baking is a great way to relieve their stress or just a hobby that they love to do.

As far as sugar goes, no one can go wrong with chocolate! Even those who have allergies to it, wish they didn’t. Chocolate is just a gift of the world that we love to indulge in, and hey scientists have recently proven that eating some chocolate in moderation is very good for your health!

One of the most favorable dessert love by many, even kids, is the chocolate cupcake.  Even if you are not the best baker, you can pull this one off- we promise you this! This dessert is very easy to do, but you need to have the essentials and the pure will to make them. And just think of it- once they are baked, you get to eat them up! Here is an easy recipe to try-

How to Make Chocolate Cupcakes

The first step to do is to prepare the ingredients. These are the following:

  • 150g butter softened
  • 150g superfine (caster) sugar
  • 175g self-rising flour
  • 3 eggs
  • One teaspoon vanilla extract or essence
  • 50g chocolate chips (optional)
  • 50g unsweetened cocoa powder

Before starting with the ingredients, prepare the tray or the cake pan by adding cupcake papers. Then, preheat it in the oven with a temperature of 350ºF (180ºC). Afterward, carefully break the eggs into a cup. Make sure that there’ll be no shell mixed in it. With the use of the fork, beat the egg lightly.  In a large bowl, mixed all the ingredients excluding the chocolate chips. Include also the egg on it. What to do next?

To make the mixing of ingredients easier, use a mixer and mixed it for 2 minutes. If the mixture has already a fluffy and light texture, then putting it in the cupcake cases will be the next step, in transferring it, use a spatula or either a spoon. This is for cupcake cases to receive and even amount of the mixed ingredients. Before putting it in the oven, sprinkle some chocolate chips on the top of it. Bake it for 18-20 minutes.

How to know if it’s already cooked? If the cupcakes are firm to be touch and have already risen, then it means it’s cooked. But, if not then try to wait for few more minutes. Once it is ready, transfer it to a cooling rack and start decorating it once it’s cool.
