Texas Needs Our Help

Pipes are frozen, and temperatures are way below zero with millions of Texans are without electricity. Joe Biden has declared a state of emergency.

Businesses have opened their doors and are operating as warming centers for those seeking immediate shelter.

A shoutout to Mattress Mack for allowing those in need to come into his store for blankets and a couch or bed to chill on.

For many people, the basic essentials of food water and shelter (heat) are in peril. And over twenty three people have died in Texas. Moreover, there seems to be no end in sight with a new storm coming in.

The Mayor of Texas has resigned because he basically told his people to fend for themselves and warm from within. Which is scientifically not possible.

Blame has been sent directly to the left. By blaming the non law Green New Deal, Wind Turbines freezing (Which only account for twelve percent of the current energy production in Texas)  and anything else that is not a fossil fuel, oil, or gas.

You see, Texas has it’s own independent power grid.

Because Texas deregulated their power grid. Which means they operate independently and are on their own.  So they cannot borrow power from other power grids in other states. And Former Texas Governor Rick Perry was quoted saying that Texans would prefer rolling blackouts to power grid regulation.

Right now, rolling blackouts and power outages are forcing the people of Texas to bundle up. Big time. Forcing them to create makeshift window coverings, and using a blow dryer on their water pipes to thaw them so they can access water. Out of desperation, some people are dangerously warming themselves up in their cars. With carbon monoxide deaths happening as a result.

Here is how you can help.

Crowdfunding via Crowdsourcerescue.com   Working to get heat into the homes of the elderly via generators and transporting senior citizens to hotels for food and shelter.

There are many local organizations that you can donate to. If you are feeling nervous about the credibility of the organization, you can look up most non profits via Charity Navigator.

Wishing all the people of Texas a safe next few days.
