Ten Bingeworthy Shows To Transition Into Summer With

Summer on the sunrise and some extra downtime on our hands. In addition to pedicures, face masks and other self-care at-home rituals, here are binge-worthy shows to spend your downtime on. So grab your Comfy and check out these suggestions.

Cute

Emily in Paris is an easy-to-watch series. If you want Fashion, romance, and comedy all rolled up in Paris, I think this is a binge-worthy show. Watch Seasons 1,2 and 3 on Netflix.

Cult

Teenage soccer team of girls get stranded in a forest and have to fend for themselves. But something creeptastic is lurking in the woods with them. This show has it all, teenage angst, an awesome nineties soundtrack with the help of Craig Wedren, musician and soundtrack siren and of course cannibalism. Yeah, you read that right. Seasons 1 and 2 are available now on Showtime.

Comedy Gold

Christine Applegate strikes a comedic chord in Dead To Me when her husband is killed in a hit an run and she befriends (unknowingly, the female driver played by the hilarious Linda Cardellini). James Marsden, Jury Duty adds some eye candy to the castThink Thelma and Louise.. Seasons 1 2 and 3 are available on Netflix.

Classic Television

Classic TV can mean comedies like Benny Hill, and The Red Green Show. And it can be MASH, Three’s Company. Melrose Place and The OC. Look to streaming apps like Crackle and Pluto TV for Classic TV on demand.

Couch Concert

Sometimes watching a concert from the comfort of your own couch is the way to go. Miley Cyrus and the Weekend can bring out your early summer vibes and there are a few others to stream on Netflix, Disney and more.

Cringy

Parks and Recreation, The Office, and Arrested Development are all cringe-worthy shows that can be watched anytime anywhere.  Reality shows have Cringe elements too and they are taking over television. Take the time to unplug with Love is Blind and Too Hot To Handle. Because other people’s train wrecks can totally be your downtime treasure.

Conclusion

Cringe, Cute, Comedic Gold cannot happen without the staff of writers that make these ideas come to life. Let’s hope the writer’s strike ends soon so we can continue to enjoy new binge-worthy shows this Fall.
