15 Ways That My Guy Best Friend Has Helped Me Feel Like A Human Being Again

       After being dumped you start to ask yourself “what is wrong with you.”  You start to feel worthless, like you will never mean anything top anyone. And like you don’t deserve to be happy. Or you don’t deserve to have the things you want in life.

       But honestly you know that’s not true.

       Usually when this happens, your friends and family members try and do everything  they can to make you feel better. To make you feel like yourself again.Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. 

      Here are 15 ways my guy best friend helped me get back to who I was/am.

1.  He helped me realize that I have a lot more reasons to be me than I ever knew

2.  He explained to me why he loves me, and that he wouldn’t if everything I felt was true.

3.  He showed me that people still love me, even when I feel unlovable.

4.  He showed me that he genuinely cares about my well being. 

5.  He  showed me that all I need in my life is friends.

6.  He proved to me that he would always be there to listen to me talk, no matter how stupid the reason is.

7.  He showed me that it doesn’t matter what I look like, just what my heart looks like.

8.  He  showed me my opinion of me is the only one that matters, not everyone elses.

9.  He proved to me that not all guys are the same.

11.  He gave me a reason to hold out hope. 

12.  He told me I should never settle for less that what I deserve. 

13.  He gave me a reason to keep trying to be a better me. 

14.  He helped me find myself after I had already lost every quality I held close to me.

15.  He helped keep me going when all I wanted to do was give up. 

    Whenever I was at my worst he showed me I was so much better than that. He proved to me that I should be able to be comfortable in my own skin, no matter what anyone else thinks.

     He made me feel better when I thought my life was always going to be a big pile of shit.

    He got me back to the point I needed to be at. And I will never be able to thank him enough.
